Substitute Siding Removal
The Substitute Siding Removal Grant Program provides grant assistance to property owners interested in removing substitute siding from homes and repairing or restoring original wood siding.
Historical Architectural Rehabilitation
The Historic Architectural Rehabilitation Grant Program was established to provide financial assistance to owners for the exterior rehabilitation of their property.
HOME Investment Partnership Program
The HOME Investment Partnership Prgram dollars are usedexclusively for affordable housing activities. Eligible activities under the HOME Program are home purchace, rehabilitation of owner and rental units, new construction, acquisition, and tenant based rental assistance.
Residential Rehabilitation Program
The City of Elgin’s Residential Rehabilitation Program provides funds to encourage and assist property owners in maintaining and improving the exterior of their homes and neighborhood.
Chain Link Fence Removal
The Chain Link Fence Removal Program provides property owners with financial assistance to remove existing chain link fences.
Multi-Family Conversion
The Multi-Family Conversion Grant Program is designed to provide funding for the conversion of multi-family unit residences back to their original use.
